Frequently asked questions
How white will my teeth get?
KöR Whitening lightens teeth dramatically, up to 16 shades or more. Although everyone is different, with the proper KöR Whitening System, nearly all teeth will have stunning results. KöR even whitens tetracycline-stained teeth significantly, which was previously thought to be impossible!
How does the KöR Whitening system work?
Molds of your teeth will be made to fabricate your own unique, ultra-comfortable KöR-Seal whitening trays. You and Dr. Morse will select which level of KöR Whitening is the proper fit for you. Most patients wear their KöR-Seal Whitening Trays at home for two weeks while they sleep. Depending on your selections, you may have one or two simple whitening visits in our office.
What Type of Post-Treatment Care is Required After Having My Teeth Whitened?
It is normal to experience some tooth sensitivity following a professional whitening treatment. You may be instructed to avoid consuming highly pigmented beverages for at least 24 hours to prevent the teeth from becoming stained again. Examples include tea, coffee and wine.
Am I a Candidate for Teeth Whitening?
You may be a candidate for professional teeth whitening if you are experiencing discoloration, but otherwise have healthy teeth and healthy gums. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Morse to find out if tooth whitening could be right for you. Some patients, such as those who are pregnant or sensitive to whitening agents, may not be candidates for professional whitening.
Keep in mind only the natural tooth will whiten.
